Recently, I have a loooooooooooooooooooooooooot a problem on my face. I regularly swimming once-twice a week and i always love to do it at about 9-10 am. Crazy? yes, most of people say the same thing. But realy, bandung is really cold and I just cannot stand if i feel freezing inside of swimming pool. So, it makes my face turn out to be brown. I don’t hate it but it just look so contrast to my body skin (which is fair white), but that’s fine, let’s talk about it later after I finish this hormone phenomena called acne.

Yes, I still have some acne, but the main problem is not only acne, but also blackhead and excess sebum. Acne only appear when i have my period, but blackheads and sebum? every single day.

And I always evaluate my skincare routine? which one is wrong? what makes me have to wipe out my face using blotting paper every hour. And i just realize it is the foundation/cc cream/bb cream. It clogs my pore and make my sebum going crazy. So, i decide to try my sister skincare, which is mentholatum acnes.

What makes me surprise and decide to try them? heeeem because my sister face in the past is full of star   acne. Then she ask me to bought them all treatment of acnes, start from face wash, powder lotion, uv tint, spot care dll. I bought them all except the two way cake (CMIIW). and then her face is really getting better. that’s why i try. Why I only use two of them, because my sister didn’t like the powder lotion and I’m so in love with the uv tint.

Acnes UV Tint

The UV tint is only have one shade, I dunno what the name of the shade. The shade for me is too dark, so I’m a little bit affraid before using it,

How to use?

Shake it well, the put some little amount of the uv tint. Spreading it away in your face.

What I feel?

My First impression is totally wrong. This uv tint isn’t that bad. Even the shade look darker, it adapt well on my skin tone. Maybe it’s just like cc cream from etude which is in liquid it looks so bright, but when you apply it, it adapt to your skin tone. When I use it with the compact powder (from Acnes Also), my friend said that ” Tumben te mukanya gak minyakan, pake apa?”. Yup ladies, it absorb my excess sebum. Highly recommended for oily face.

Acnes Powder Lotion

I thought it was toner. But when I read carefully, It’s like a powder in liquid form.

How to use

Shake well. It is used after you wash your face. Tap tap like when you use toner or astringent, better use your palm.

How I feel

It’s really absorb anything oily in your face once the powder lotion is into your face. I don’t recommend to use any cosmetic after using the powder lotion. Because my skin become dry. Just use it when you feel don’t want to use anything but this.

Because of good experiment using acnes, I decided to bought some more..Here they are 🙂

 Acnes Foaming Face Wash

Yupsi! I’m a big fan of foam!

How to use

Just pump 1-2 times and use the foam to wash you face!

How I feel

Nothing to worry, It’s works! Not make my face dry but..the smell disturbing me, little bit “bau obat”

Acnes Oil Control and Whitening Cream

Just like ordinary cream, seems like it’s water based. Not so sticky.

How I feel

It’s great! Sometimes when I too lazy to use make up I just use this and this is really helping absorb sebum. My face also got brighter. For daily use, I use it after  washing my face, and after use the cream, I also use the uv tint.

Acnes Compact Powder

How I feel?

This is a good finishing for your daily care. Sometimes, some compact powder make your face more oily or..make your acne getting worse. But trust me this is different, this is skincare compact powder. Of course you don’t need to expect the coverage, it’s low-med coverage, it also don’t give a very smooth texture. But it give something “matte” to your face, which is every oily girl dreams.

Overall??

I definitely say yes to the facial wash, cream,and  uv tint. Since they gave me matte finishing even without the compact powder. But for better result, just use all of them 🙂 Thank you …
